We didn’t start Alera out of frustration. We started it because we saw the right time to do something different—something better. Alera Marine Group was founded with a clear opportunity: to build a boat and a brand with real presence, real performance, and real purpose.

From day one, intentionality has been the driving force. Every design, every weld, every decision has been made to improve the user experience—for owners, for dealers, and for everyone who gets behind the helm of an Alera.

Alera is led by a team with over 200 years of combined marine experience—leaders like Coley Brady (CEO), Jordan Kistler (General Manager), and Joe Mehl (VP of Marketing), along with a talented crew of 40+ designers, engineers, and craftspeople.

This is not a startup guessing its way forward. It’s a modern marine manufacturer driven by a team that’s done this before—and now doing it their way, with clarity and craftsmanship.

“Intentionality has been a constant theme since day one,” said Jordan Kistler. “We’ve obsessed over the little things that add up in a major way for the end user. This boat wasn’t built for the showroom—it was built for the water.”
